Today the US vice president vented at European leaders, telling them the biggest threat to their security was “from within,” rather than from China and Russia.

No, don't do that, they want the destruction of NATO to be 'our' fault, instead just borrow the money, and spend a higher percentage than the US does (just 3.2 % !) for just the next 4 years, simply so we can then tell Trump to get F*cked.

Can a country be expelled? Presumably it would require a united response from all other members (31). To expel 2/3 of the alliance's power. With bases in min 13 NATO nations. Whilst Putin tries to Make Russia Empire Again. Who we operationally couldn't continue without in Afghanistan.

USA need to be told that if they won't uphold Article 5, & stop threatening the territorial integrity & sovereignty of other NATO nations, they should leave the alliance.

NATO needs to actively develop the ability to function without USA given their recent hostile rhetoric & slide into fascism.

I’m sure it could, but it would be unable to even come close to matching the might of NATO. EU countries just don’t spend enough on defence.
