Freida's fans will be pleased to know she had a perfect annual checkup at the vet today. Sadly, she was then subjected to a sanitary clip and a bath, which has wounded her dignity but cleaned her butt.

it's good stuff. i find my cat needs a little traz and sometimes a touch of ace to take the rest if the edge off if i have to do anything extra invasive.
i bet he'd let a stranger do it with no drugs at all, though. lol
it kind of makes me a little bit happy because I may have to leave my cat when I move out soon so Im glad that theres another one out there that looks like her
I do it myself. She has to be a bit sedated for her vet visits so I usually do it when she gets home. She has to go monthly for her arthritis shot, and I clip her most months. I got a set of clippers from Amazon.
Big time. By day 3 after the shot she's scampering around like a kitten, and she's at least 13. On the last day or two before the next one I can see her slowing down and limping a little.
I love my cat, but this long fur is so inconvenient and relentless. She was assigned to us by the cat distribution system, so we didn't exactly have a choice 😂 I definitely would not have chosen this fur option.

The arthritis shot is called Solensia, it's a monthly injection.
