I am not into Dave Matthew’s.. I like The Archie’s better too.. SUGAR SUGAR. One of the best 60s bubble gum song.. that would be my second baseball song
The Ozzy part was the best.. wow.. he really has severe Parkinsons but I so love Ozzy.. my baseball sing would be Crazy Train.. how come he wasn’t inducted before?
Whenever I think of Julia Roberts, Don Rickles comes to mind. During a celebrity event, he mentions her. As Julia began to speak, Don interrupted with, "You have no lines, Julia, just nod."
But we learned 15 years ago, that the Dave Matthews band does not rock. But we are glad that he is a local resident here. I saw him at Target one time. https://youtu.be/iR2GpGtyqDg?si=me16bkhbAy_SIVJi
Great show! Dione Warwick-fantastic. Ozzy Osbourne - looks like he is part of the living dead.
Peter Frampton - nope, didn’t recognize his face.
I also did not recognize James Taylor either.
Wow, we all got old so fast!! At least we had kick-ass music to guide the way.
🥱 I’m a certified nerd musician with a degree in percussion performance. Please don’t talk to me about “challenging” music. Ever heard of Tigran Hamasyan? Dirty Loops? Adult Jazz? This is boring. DMB has played thousands of shows and maintained a following. Seems like you’ve only heard Crash into me
They really are, though. They're like yacht rock for Gen X. The difference between DMB and many other bands is DMB actually succeeds in their aspirations of mediocrity where many musical ensembles don't even manage that.
They're not bad. They're just not worthy of a "Hall of Fame" status.
Who cares anymore? When long time established rock acts still haven't been inducted, but Madonna has, that's when I lost interest in the Rock Hall. And I'm from Cleveland.
The Rock Hall should've gone to Memphis. Perhaps there it wouldn't be the clusterfuck it is today.
That was a really good show. I started watching it a few months back but never finished because my dog passed away that day. I really enjoyed the entire show.
Absolutely the worst Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies I have ever seen! DMD, wtf? Some clown named Jelly Roll performs Ozzy tune, wtaf? Bare mention of John Mayall's contribution to music history, wtf? No Little Feat again wtf? The Rock & Roll Hall has lost it's cred.
I knew the guy that brought the allegations forward and happened to cross paths with him again about a year ago. Happy to report he seems to be doing well
They opened for the Grateful Dead in Vegas in 1994, and their drummer got to play a solo on Mickey and Bill's gigantic drum set, and I don't think I have ever seen a happier person in my entire life. He was grinning ear to ear and having a blast up there.
Had the great pleasure of seeing him a few years back and he was awesome. I was one of teeny boppers and did not truly appreciate his guitar virtuosity until then.

DMB was to be performing at Scott stadium, and he stopped by the school to visit the music teacher, while our daughter was in her classroom.
What a memory. I hope you got pics💙💙

Carter Beauford is a legendary talent. I love his rhythmic sensibilities. But overall, the group's creative output is meh.
I think what we disagree about is what constitutes "hall of fame".

They can GF themselves.
Does Cancel culture have to steal ALL of OUR HEROS?!?
Carter Beauford is a really great drummer, though.
