If anyone has tips for how to fall asleep during the rise of fascism let me know because I think I’m getting an average of 4 hours a night (that can’t be good!) and I feel like an animal locked in a cage watching what’s happening with ICE and trying to figure out what to do to do to materially help

Now that's out of the way, let me 'splain. No, is too much....let me sum up. Cannabis may help you sleep, and sleep more soundly. Strain and dosage matter.

Sweeping generalizations like this are never completely accurate. There are always outliers.
You may need to adjust your dosage to accommodate extra stress or something of that nature, but countless people use it every night without a problem.
What could one do better with CBN, whether mixed or by itself?
CBN by itself doesn't allow you to bypass REM sleep, while THC does, so it won't be as effective as a full-spectrum product. The addition of melatonin in lower doses doesn't seem to affect it. /1
Do you also take CBD? The two together may help you sleep better.
There hasn't been a lot of research into CBN - it's not as well known as THC & CBD. /2

Not presuming any of these are easy to come by with your intense schedule, but: morning exercise, cutting caffeine after midday, meditation, turning screens off an hour+ before bed, reading a chill-borderline-dull book...

Real answer: hydroxyzine. Prescription only, use as directed.
In my experience, attempts to get this right may still result in some nights with only four hours' sleep.

I use edibles. If I take prescription sleep medication, the first time I have to get up and go pee, that's all she wrote. I'm up for the rest of the night.
Haven't slept for MONTHS....
I keep thinking-at some point-the body just needs to QUIT and sleep.

I tried Zopiclone when I had sleep challenges but it didn't really work for me, so I'm not recommending it
