Ajani Vengeant along with Gideon and a couple of Lilianas have been on the temp list, but didn't get pushed out with the most recent change to the MLD list, as I wanted to get additional feedback. My gut feeling is that they should be added - not because players can shortcut getting to these

"ultimate" abilities with cards like Doubling Season (as trying to evaluate cards in relation to the use of other cards will add entirely too much complexity, and it is up to the player to be honest about their intentions) - but because playing these in a B1/B2 deck may lead to "feels bad" moments.

That said, I want the additional feedback, because I don't want anyone to feel like their "Oops all Gideons" deck is being unfairly punished. As always, regardless of what Moxfield or any other site estimates a deck at, it is the author of the deck who has the ultimate authority to be honest or not

This seems almost a no-brainer because of the ultimate. I guess you can argue that your opponent would have sufficient time to deal with this before it goes off, but I feel like that's against the spirit of Bracket 1. At Bracket 1, they should not even have to consider the threat of an MLD.

Razia's Purification is Bracket 4 on your site. At 6 mana, players must choose 3 permanents and sacrifice the rest. Balancing Act can be a very efficient version of that same effect, especially if one player is very far behind.

Magus of the Balance and Restore Balance are both Bracket 1, but we have seen the play patterns for Balance-like effects be notorious at denying players of their mana--especially in haphazard situations where these cards will force players to be as mana-screwed as the most mana-screwed player.

I debated this with @veggiewagon.bsky.social, but I think Disciple of Caelus Nin should not be in Bracket 1. This is a "fixed" Limited Resources because you can recover your lands by killing this, but I think that's cherry-picking when Realm Razer and Urza's Sylex are Bracket 4.

Land Equilibrium should be Bracket 4. This is potentially worse than Limited Resources, especially when played early. Ward of Bones is similar but you can circumvent it by "putting" lands into play ("put" =/= "play"). Equilibrium does not have that loophole.
