I can only echo other sentiments here. In Europe, most locals will mostly express sympathy or laugh. It was a similar thing post Brexit. Neither UK nor US politics occupy the everyday European mind half as much as the UK and US media like to suppose!
I solidly blame our Puritanical ancestors that cried the whole way here bc everyone in the UK also wanted to punch them on site for being self righteous, obnoxious, controlling assholes.
Which is why there pretty much aren't any of them anywhere else except the USA.
Your problem is not Jews, Muslims, Catholics, Hindus, Pagans, or Atheists. Or the Left. It's puritan evangelical christians and the GOP who bought into their vote, trying to make the USA a theocracy. Defeat them.
I was raised in and escaped a staunchly evangelical nationalist household. Trust me. I know exactly who the problem is and have been trying to warn people exactly how bad this problem is for actual decades. I refuse to be forced to live under the severely hateful belief system I gladly abandoned.
Yep. I and many others of varying faiths (and none) have been saying it for years, but the media and politicians are in ignorance or denial, or have been bought off the subject, oblivious even in the face of books like @swordsjew.bsky.social's book Wild Faith.
Im just glad a very vocal minority gets their doomsday fanfics come to life while the majority of us have to suffer. Maybe the real freedom were the friends we made along the way.
My experience from my recent - as in, last week - trip to Germany is that they mostly feel sorry for those of us who didn’t vote for The Orange Man. But they also laugh about it. So…
I just replied to a similar comment, I'd do a PPV and people cab buy tickets lottery style. Do it at MSG and pack the people in. My kid will be so taken care of

Though I suppose the potential medical bills would be more than that, so maybe not
