I wholeheartedly agree, but you have to know your kid. My oldest was a daredevil & was not easily scared. My youngest was the opposite & won’t ride it again.

More children's entertainment should make kids learn to feel the sense of inevitable annihilation in the face of the abyss!

I think there’s also merit to exposing kids to a healthy and age-appropriate amount of fear. It teaches kids that even in scary and dark situations, there’s always a solution and a way to get back to brighter times.

And safely dropping thirteen stories on an elevator is fun hahaha!

I have the ride photo from my then-6-yo in Paris and I’m so ashamed… his poor little face. He was much happier 3 years later in Florida. And then I remember that I still can’t handle the Haunted Mansion 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I dunno I felt like I had died the first time I rode Tower of Terror and never got over it after getting tricked into going on it by my Dad claiming my little sister had already done it and it was fine 👀🤣

(I've done ToT DLP and Guardians once each as an adult, got the same feeling 🤣)
