Lots of quick judgements on whether or not we made the right decision laying off staff. At least half of the surplus is income that was impossible to predict with any certainty when that decision was made. The DSA forums are open to all DSA members, and only DSA members. I can't think of a reason to discuss DSA business on another site unless you're just looking for dunks and drive-bys.
I'm not part of a caucus. And I can really only think of one way to have it be less biased towards a certain tendency: encourage others to go there and be part of the conversation.
Also, budgets are complicated, there's no way we can discuss it productively while microblogging.
