There was a Star Trek TOS episode where an alien manipulates the minds of the crew to turn them against one another in order to feed off their anger. Trump, Musk, MAGA feed off our outrage. Causing it is their goal. We have to both find ways to resist and not give them the satisfaction of our rage.
