Paul Prudhomme’s “Louisiana Kitchen” is the Bible, as far as I’m concerned. It’s one of ten cookbooks I’d outfit a new kitchen with. What I made above was done from memory, but this is close to the recipe I learned from:

Use salt, pepper, white pepper, cayenne, basil, and thyme instead of the Magic Seasoning Blend.
