As long as the methodology is accurate, unbiased, and there is no fraud involved in these new studies, and the evidence generated is analyzed objectively, then there is nothing wrong with repetition.

and any scientist that has done credible work should welcome when someone else want's to attempt to regenerate their findings, even if it leads to revelations of flaws in the original experimental design. Scientists seek truths, even if it reveals their prior assumptions were wrong.

This is, after all, how we came to understand that Andrew Wakefield's experimental design and protocols were severely flawed. We could not infer a link between autism and vaccination when the evidence was generated from properly designed experiments.

It's not a matter of not welcoming new studies... It's a matter of, it's already BEEN studied to death. There's huge meta analysis showing NO LINK. It's a huge waste of money and other resources in doing yet ANOTHER study to show the same thing we've known for well over a decade now.
