You have engaged with my work over the years more than I have engaged with yours, this is true. I don’t particularly have strong disagreement about what I’ve seen in the NYT because it’s mostly seemed to be criticism of Trump/MAGA, which I share.

I write essays about constitutional history and constitutional law. If you have nothing to say about or contribute to those discussions, that’s fair, but please don’t reduce it to “Trump bad”
I’ll check some of that out. Will probably find more to agree with from those angles than with your gossiping about which party you heard I was eating cheeseburgers at 😩
People get frustrated with you and lash out because you espouse a lot of opinions with your chest but can’t defend when challenged. It’s always about tone, and you always end up concluding the tone from the “illiberal left” is worse than right wingers upfront that they consider you a DEI imbecile
I do recall you writing about Georgetown parties & the hierarchy of black social acceptance (with athletes at the top). Accordingly, as 1 of those Georgetown athletes, RaMell Ross is up for an Oscar for Nickel Boys, do you feel a sense of pride in seeing a fellow brother from your GU days rise up?
It’s funny you mention him, because I didn’t know him well but always said hi. I remember Ramell as one of the friendliest (there were a few I liked a lot) guys who played. Everyone liked him, and everyone was rooting for him as a photographer and now as a director.
