I voted at a booth on boundary of 2 electorates and the volunteers didn't have the HTV for the party I was voting for. Didnt matter to me, quite easy to choose the order! With the LNP last, naturally!
Amazing when I voted .. everyone around me had HTV cards as though they could never think for themselves but were happy to cast a vote for someone else
Voted yesterday. Did research before voting.
Thought it interesting that the Lib HTV had Greens last, Clive 2nd last, then Labor 3rd last, in an 8 candidate competition.
They gave 2nd pref to One Nation.
Sad.
Labor actually had Greens 2nd pref & Legalise Marijuana 3rd.
In Lab/Lib contest seat
It is like playing chess and predicting moves. Enjoy it! I did!
I did my homework and put the answers in my phone. The senate paper in Vic is so wide, I had to fold it back on itself and still ensure I numbered in the right boxes.
I just got back.
A lot of people out voting early, many more than in previous years
I think people have made up their minds and don't want to hear anymore from the Parties
I don't know what to with mine. I have Labor and Greens and the rest are right wing, even the Indie. Got the first 2 sorted, what do I do with the rest?
Totally agree .... a quick way is to determine where your allegiance lies ..... look at their HTV and RESEARCH where their preferences are distributed and adjust accordingly to make your vote count. Please do NOT BLINDLY FOLLOW the HTV #AusVotes25 #auspol25
eg In Gippsland Darren Chester's HTV actually preferences PHON and Libertarians ahead of ALP and Greens.... so on a 1 to 5 scale I would place the @greens.org.au and @australianlabor.bsky.social ahead of Chester BUT would place Chester ahead of PHON and Libertarians.

It is always a worry when preferences lead you to put a candidate much higher in the order than you want to. In my electorate, I want to vote 1 for the Greens, 5 for the ALP and all the other candidates last equally. But... Barnaby Joyce will NOT be last when Family First and PHON are on the list.
Im saving my vote for election day (i already shuffled my preferences around on the basis of new info yesterday - unsuspected lro-Zionist party), mainly because my vote will be counted on Saturday May 3.

We are aiming for a swinger next house move - maybe Eden-Monaro!
