I can't speak for Trudeau (for obvious reasons), but I could *very* easily see him becoming a diplomat, perhaps even a Canadian ambassador to the U.S.

It remains that he's too much of a liability to stay on as party leader (thanks Poilievre), I can't see the current Liberal wave continuing if so.

It remains though that the Liberals are still very much beholden to their corporate stakeholders, notably Big Groceries and Big REITs, and won't try to willingly solve the housing crisis.

Have you seen this? It's a tool (not unlike what Leadnow tried to do way back) which takes current polling results for each riding and lets you know, based on that, which candidate in each stands the best chance of defeating the conservative candidate.

It's not perfect, but if the parties aren't going to coordinate together not to split the vote, we have to try to do it ourselves. If polling is accurate (big if) and all left-leaning voters used this tool, the Liberals, NDP, and Greens would all do better in the election

It should be noted that Trumps opponents always benefit more when he is office. Down in Mexico their President now has an 80 percent app rating despite a weak economy. In Canada Trump saved the liberal party from going under. For Tesla. stock is down. For Vance he can't go on vacation.
