Someone wrote that UKs on/off relationship with the EU, should make us consider demanding stronger institutions of the UK, say proportional representation, a written constitution, const. court, plural free media, reduce influence from money/rich people. It makes sense or we will be here again later.
The irony of Canadian firefighting planes helping the residents of California fight the wild fires they have there. Probably not reported by Fox News (is it really a fact checking media source) or has been reported as Canadians bombing California.
I’m not even Canadian, and this cartoon is infuriating. They aren’t tiny scared beavers. This should be a moose, using its antlers (antlers? yes, antlers) to crush Trump into a pancake against a maple tree.
Or the beaver could just bite his dick off. Beavers are mean.
Yes, in theory, but we have spent the last decade telling them to feck off. Now, we’re only strategically significant to the EU because we host USAF bases right on their border.
It'd be smarter for the US not to invade, however, if they think we'd not use nukes, even as a second response, then there's nothing stopping them. Mutually assured destruction is what has kept us safe.

tbh think the 🐈y grabbin felon 47 would 💩 himself, however if he does meet up with 1 i hope its 1 of these, although with bird flu endemic in wild & domestic animals this cheap 🤣may b on me ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6I5hl1w0eg
I feel so stupid. Trump’s ranting about annexing Canada is supposed to intimidate them into not putting tariffs on American goods. And his threats on the canal are to intimidate the Chinese not to infiltrate the canal governance. And Greenland is to stop Denmark looking for oil at the poll. Ahh!
Starmer will not want to annoy the US unnecessarily, as he has enough on his plate right now.
Eventually however the penny will drop that the US is no longer a partner you can have any kind of functioning relationship with, let alone a "special" relationship.
Fortunately the Labour Party is perfectly capable of changing leader before the next election and as long as he isn’t replaced by the spineless halfwits in his current cabinet, there’s some hope.
Given what he's said about Musk, I'm guessing his opinions have changed. Besides, how is he gonna focus on the US when Trump threatened to tariff the NHS to hell.
I wish he would admit that also, but if he were to we'd have reform and the Tories up in arms about the 'BREXIT BETRAYAL'. a slow acclimation is probably best. Like putting a fish in a fish tank, but instead of fish, its countries.
Trudeau had a plan to deal with this, and it's a shame that so many Canadians decided to be turncoat traitors based on bullshit lies that were spread on platforms like X.

He and the bullying billionaire bros need to be stopped.
This is not presidential behaviour.
The most powerful weapon can never be used unless by huge mistake.
Losing a war doesn't mean you lost your people. Surrendering is a much smarter choice.

Melania T. rushes to Canada's JT...and says 'Yes, Yes and Yes'...

However Trump and Musk are both huge steaming turds on that plate and until they are sorted nothing else matters.
He has done nothing of consequence.
I’d happily be wrong if Starmer admits he now has to choose to side with Europe though.
Not holding my breath though.
