Washington just destroyed a damn allowing salmon to return to spawn in one of their natural habitats. How long was that dam built? Is there a correlation?

Also, I love gen Z orcas, but their moms were definitely the original badasses

At this point it's clear Orcas have their own culture and are aware enough of human cultures to do things like protest.

In the past they have cooperated with human whalers to hunt prey, what's to say they can't do the same with environmentalists to protect common good?

As far as I can tell, all large mammals are some degree of person, and animals like elephants and whales are even more person-ey than most people. They just don't speak our languages or pay taxes so we willingly ignore them most of the time. But they don't have the luxury of ignoring us.
