Also, if someone insists to an interviewer "I am an intellectual" then you can generally assume that they are not that in the slightest.

In essence, the ideas are new to them but not new to the world.
I think Jane Austin would agree with my argument.
Someone who’s truly smart will rarely tell you how smart they are.
Someone who’s truly brave rarely tell you how brave they are.
Someone who’s truly honest will never tell you how honest they are.
