I couldn’t understand how the election worked out here in November. NC elects a Democratic executive government at the state level but also Trump. I was puzzling about it for days, and then someone told me not to bother. People here just like to split ticket for the feels.🙄

Yeah they have led the way. I forget the year but it was during Obama years when I took notice of the legislature voting to change the powers of the governor after a democrat was elected. May be other earlier examples but that was the first I noticed.
