Most studios I was in they had a catharsis shelf of biscware that went wrong. Put some change in a jar for the clay and smash against the back wall.

Back when I was a waitress and had particularly bad customers I would take a couple of water glasses and chuck them at the wall behind the dumpster. It always helped…until my manager found out what I was doing.
