I'm pretty sure I've had Noro (my wife is so much better w/ names). She ended up in the ER for dehydration. Once we knew what it was, it went better for the kid and myself, but still wasn't any fun. We got it coming back from a trip, so picked it up in the airport/plane. It loves surface contact.
Oh and we started bringing Clorox wipes w/ us and hitting all the surfaces around us on the plane, to try and keep things at bay. So far, so good. No cruises for me though.
So I just did a search on getting it on a cruise: 1/5,500 chance but 1/15 in the US overall 🤔 News focus is the issue???
I am dreading going out to get the pneumonia vax later today. Feel like I need to gown up. Might as well since everyone else will be in their damn pajamas and nasty ass slippers. Everyone looking like the just rolled off a box car 😒
I had pneumonia when I was 14 I think it was. That hit me hard then, and I was probably as healthy as I've ever been. I'd be thrilled to never have that again.

I will have to ask our friend. He doesn't have a degree in epidemiology but he is a PhD in lung pathogens and Regents Professor in microbial pathogenesis and immunology.
