“Make a game then lose your job” seems to be the MO of the video game industry now. Doesn’t matter if your game was wildly successful, a disaster, a middling success, a corporate mandated-product or something earnestly new. You just get punished for finishing art.

my favourite DA game is DA:I, but DA:V has some very good stuff, too.
all they care about is mugging us for as much as they can as fast as they can, before dropping everything (including the staff) & moving onto the next project to rip us off with.
honestly the more time passes the more i don't see how systemic scale luigi-ing isn't a moral imperative and the only solution to this ever-worsening capitalisto-fascist hellscape 💀
