What pisses me off are the Democrats now blaming Muslims and Ceasefire protesters for not voting for Harris. I voted but I understand why some people didn't. It's hard to vote for someone bombing your families just because they will bomb them less than the other guy.
So if I'm keeping track correctly. He wants to invade Panama to fight China, Canada & Greenland (Denmark by extension) and fight ALL of NATO, Mexico because of drugs and immigrants (and he just doesn't like them) and now Gaza and the middle east again? Was the price of eggs really worth this cost?
Ive never had such a difficult time being calm. My rage is at an all time high and its super hard not using it. ive thrown rocks at people heads with less rage than this. Im not really sure how to use it yet.
It's Brett McGurk's plan for peace in the Middle East that both Biden and Trump supported. They view the path to regional peace as a Saudi-Israeli partnership to rebuild Palestine giving them a shared financial interest in peace.
The fact that it entails ethnic cleansing is irrelevant.
The plan is to trade Saudi Arabia officially recognizing Israel's right to exist and diplomatic normalization in exchange for a yet to be negotiated role in redeveloping Palestine. It has been his hare brained scheme since Oslo I failed.
But he didn't fail upward high enough to recommend policy until Biden. W, Obama, and Trump's first term all had enough knowledge of the region to say "no, that's dumb and will never work".
The only reason my fury hasn't turned me into a human torch of all-consuming, unchecked, fiery rage is because I need to be able to safely pet my dogs.
Honestly. President Musk and his pet trump’s continued success, the long lives of evil men like McConnell, and the complete lack of any form of karma for any of them has me convinced the Christians were right, their god is real, he’s evil and hates women.
To be honest I don't think it is possible to be right now. I think you are right about that. You have a kind heart. It is normal for you to feel the way you do.
Do you want comfort? Or listening? Or suggestions?
If it helps, and believe me I know how little words may help right now,
Try to focus on what you can do, not on everything. Support those fighting battles you cannot, archiving threatened data, etc. (Help, but be smart about it. Opportunists, like discouragebots and human trolls, are a hazard.)
Try to spread the news outside your usual sphere, this has all happened so much and so fast, and into an atmosphere where many news sources have abandoned their posts, that a lot of people seem to have no idea of the full scope of what is occurring.
(This, like the overwhelm, multiple targets, and trauma, seems intentional.)
Make noise (without getting stupid), but /focus/. It is the ones actively supporting the awful who should be on the receiving end of the bulk of that energy right now.
Frankly I'm at the point of compartmentalisation. There's so much out there that I simply can't change and I have to be able to function in order to affect the things I can change. I can't do that if I allow myself to feel all of the rage that I have available.
It helps me to remember that overwhelm is the point, and that, as horrific as it is, all the ugly greed, sociopathy, and bully bluster may be secondary distractions right now to the techjerk coup in progress.
If that is not stopped, a lot of us who care will be in no position to help anyone.
Every liberal who refused to vote for Harris because she allegedly "supports genocide in Gaza" is a fucking dumbass and I blame them too. What we got instead is someone who actually does support it, AND is determined to destroy America as well. Like, thanks.
Did you protest against the genocide? Did/do you donate money to families over there trying to survive? If you didnt, please feel free to go fuck yourself. I vote for Harris and she lost. Its over. Let it go, gear up or shut up.
Being able to protest or donate money is a privilege too. It implies that you can take time off of work and have extra money on hand to donate. I was able to donate, and did, but as a disabled person who also works full time, I wasn't able to protest this time around. It's great you could tho. ⭐
Good for you? If you voted for Harris I wasn't talking about you. The amount of people online proudly shouting about how they didn't vote for Harris for THIS specific reason was too many. Something like a third of those eligible to vote didn't this time around.

The rest of us : we knew.
I would call it irony, but I'm too pissed off to waste a pretty word on it.
The guy is cheering genocide so he can build a golf resort and they don’t seem to care at all.
This alone should force him to resign it’s that big of a scandal.

And, take care of yourself.
I hope that makes sense?
