Why do people vote for these scum? In my whole life, I can't think of a single benefit that a right wing party has ushered into existence, but then again I am working class, so I'm not exactly their people.

While I agree with some of your comment, it's best to look at the larger picture. When red presidents slashed welfare, blue ones like Clinton not only agreed with them but went many steps further. American politics on both sides is about greed and doing right for a tiny minority of rich people
Obama, who campaigned on ending the Bush tax cuts for the rich, made them permanent when he took office. The insurance industry wrote most of his Affordable Care Act. So, yes, it's not just red presidents. Both parties in the US should be abolished.
Maybe. You need a rehearsal space, instruments and anger and you have a punk band. Then, you can go play shows with other bands. After that, you have a community. People still do it.
We have had some good austerity bands in the UK namely the Sleaford Mods, fontsines D.C, and IDLES....but you can't beat a bit of Crass and the Varukers.
One benefit is easy answers to complex problems. The answers might be wrong, but they give false clarity. Right wing politics also give an excuse to not care about how your actions affect people indirectly. Or in some cases directly.
It's rooted in righteous ideology. In short, people love the feeling of superiority and religion gives a hall pass to feel it. They disregard human life if said life does not conform and they have no guilt because their God is good and says it's OK. It's why you cannot reason with them.
Exaclty. Some people were pissed about the "endless rambling about the happiest nation in the world". They hated it and wanted it gone. Well-being and equality are not everyone's goals...

Guessing it’s same reasonings everywhere when right wing extremists get elected into office
People who support and vote that way are usually the same way
