Also, tons of farms let you customize your box! So if you’re not a fan of the dreaded kale (🙋‍♂️), you can often swap it as long as there is availability. Some farms have you rate your veggie/fruit preferences before the season starts. (1)

I’ll add that CSAs are typically a LESS expensive way of getting fresh produce, and DIRECTLY support the farmer and their crew. Plus, CSAs help them plan the season ahead and saves them wasted investment. (2)
