You may be thinking of “soft quitting” which sounds a bit more like what you’re thinking of.
Someone quiet quitting isnt doing it because they want to protest a bad policy or change how the company is ran, they're doing it because they're disengaged with the job and dont feel any reason to put more effort in than is contractually required
People are complying to the pretend ideology that “we are family,” and “can say no,” the overall falseness that companies push as they understaff and fire and burnout the staying few.
They are tired of being exploited. Being underpaid. Being asked to do 2-3 people’s jobs. Being asked to work overtime without pay. So, they’re simply not doing it.
Kinda like WTR.
