I don't really want to be a bother to anyone. I've just not found a practice method that works for me. My skills are a bit imbalanced. I'm better at coloring than drawing.
Don’t be so hard on yourself. I recently worked as an art teacher for the first time and also self taught. You know art, you just show others how to do it your way!
While studying Art and design in Drogheda institute of future education. I came across this quote. Art teacher's are failed Artists.
I can't remember who said or wrote it unfortunately

I am a really good writer, though. Read my half-surreal book about two best friends falling out and it becoming everyone’s problem Love/Aggression https://a.co/d/8iCuGGS
I remember going to a lecture by Skip Lipke (an artist whose painting style just KILLED me, it was so good), and someone asked him what art school he went to. As I remember it, he said he went to art school for like, 2 weeks, and then quit. He felt he could learn more by going to museums
Totally get that! As a self-taught designer, I feel the same way learning is a journey, and sometimes I’m my toughest critic. But every mistake is a lesson, and growth comes with practice!
it's okay..
I had four years of art classes and the teachers there weren't very good either.
a very close friend has been teaching me the entire time, and when she got married, her husband teaches me too. :)
