The odds of you acquainting yourself with the rest of the world in person to form your own experience and make up your mind on the matter over the course of your lifetime is next to none.We can find comfort in the company of family and friends who care for us and the isolated reality of our locality
I remember being in a bad place mentally when I started playing it. I put it down and stopped playing, cuz fuck that. I picked it up 2 years later and played till I beat it, and....I've just never played a video game that's ever made me....FEEL like that again.
Also every fight is ten times harder because everything else has more health, energy, and hits harder than you. It's why I play Code Vein. It's kind of the same but with sci-fi anime vampires, so an aesthetic I enjoy. If you can't beat your demons you can at least dress them up
I'll confess that I didn't realize just how bleak the Dark Souls universe is during my first playthrough of DS1 because I assumed it wasn't much different from a generic fantasy setting and didn't pay attention to the lore until I started delving into explanation videos and such online.
I can relate to playing a long Mario Maker Two level and finding out the whole level is fucked. Watch me relate to Dark Souls Man tomorrow from 6:30 to 9:30 am on Twitch!
