Physical media is where it's at. My partner is vigilant about owning her own copy of her favourite films and series, and 4 years on I'm admitting she's 100% right. Charity shops and second hand all the way.

I also got Les Mis. For our first Xmas, I got my gf tickets to Les Mis, the spectacular. The day before the show, she was glutened in a restaurant and we couldn't go. My mum ended up going and giving us tickets for a much smaller production. That show is tomorrow. I now have to work. The DVD was 25p

Libraries! They have DVDs and BluRay. Plus online streaming services like Kanopy and Hoopla which are free to use with a library card! 😄
