I need tech help.
I use Chrome on Mac, recently clicked a spotify link, got a pop up that asked "do you want to open spotify links in the desktop app". I accidentally clicked yes. I do not like this but there's no option to turn it off.
I've contacted both Chrome and Spotify help and they don't how.

What happens if you do it in safari? (Not suggesting that as a workaround but it gives me a direction to dig, depending on your answer)
And when I pointed out that's not a setting that exists they're basic reaction was "huh. Yeah look at that. You're right. That's supposed to be a setting but it's not"
Spotify support had me delete log files using the command terminal and it still won't go away.
~/Library/Preferences/com.spotify.*.plist and ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.spotify.*.plist
Look for (and remove) a key called CFBundleURLSchemes (and the array/string/whatnot right after it).
(The Windows equivalent is in the Registry, under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT)
