Political scientist David Art of Tufts University has assimilated data that Austrians were overrepresented in the SS (Austrians constituted 8% of the Third Reich's population, but 13 % of the SS) and that 40% of concentration camp personnel and, 75% of concentration camp commanders were Austrian.

But sadly as history shows, most Austrians were in favour. They embraced Hitler who was after all, from Braunau near Linz. There’s almost zero information on Austrian resistance because it was almost completely non-existent.

Austria was under great economic pressure from Germany since 1933 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thousand-mark_ban) leading to high unemployment. German war economy led to an economic upswing.

... over the border into his own home country. He had German citizenship by that time becoming stateless first to avoid being sent back to Austria, then having Brunswick in Germany accept him as a citizen.

Austrians drafted into the Nazi-Wehrmacht after the 1938 Anschluss were then used to invade Poland, Norway, France and the USSR. Which is why Ukraine should surrender quickly, as you would never use draftees from Ukraine (or their equipment) to invade Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland, right?

Apart from the difference in size between the circles were made to represent the number of votes, voters were told they had to color in full circle for their vote to be valid. People that finished quickly had to have had colored in the smaller “nein” circle. Easy to single them out that way.
