So where do things stand on this whole question of whether Russia launched an ICBM against Ukraine or not?
Here's a short 𧡠wrapping up a lot of good observations by experts, plus a few of my own....

Great thread on the Russian missile launch against Ukraine.
πΊπ¦ overnight the Ukranian Air Force says Russia launched an ICBM against the Dnipro region.
π·πΊ Russia hasnβt confirmed.
πΊπΈ Unnamed US sources denied it was an ICBM in some American media.
They appear to show six "clusters" of munitions coming down very quickly.
The high angle of attack (aka from straight up) suggests it is some kind of long range ballistic missile, which would go high into space and come back down...
They are coming in at a much lower angle on the target (and appear to be moving slower).

Now obviously this wasn't a nuclear strike (we'd know). Interestingly, rather than a single warhead, it seems like some sort of clusters were dropped on the target.
Topol M: A road-mobile ICBM that is typically nuclear armed and a major leg of Russia's nuclear deterrent.
RS-24 Yars: A newer silo or road-mobile weapon.
RS-26: The most intriguing possibility...
