Day 14 of #LGBTplusHM25: a superb, powerfully eroticised 2.24m marble statue of Apollo Lyceus, excavated in the Frigidarium of the Hadrianic Baths at Leptis Magna, in 1924/5. Research shows that the original face of the statue was anciently removed to be replaced with that of #Antinous. 🏳️‍🌈
