Cardcaptor Sakura is a classic that doesn't get talked about enough. If you like Sailor Moon, you'll like Cardcaptor Sakura. I just recommend watching it in Japanese with subs, since the 1st dub changed everything, and the 2nd has mediocre acting. 2nd movie and sequel are good though
If you don’t mind some sillier/lighthearted stuff, I really enjoy Ramen Akaneko and Dragon Goes House Hunting! One’s a slice of life about a cat-run ramen shop, the other is about a soft-hearted dragon looking for a home with a bunch of fantasy/gaming tropes poked fun at. Both are pretty fun!
Big fan of Shangri-La Frontier. Currently airing its Second Season now. On the opposite spectrum, The Apothecary Diaries has really pretty art and fantastic storytelling. Season 2 starts January, so it’s a good time to catch up now. And I’ll always suggest Yu-Yu Hakusho. Timeless classic shonen.
Summer Wars is my favorite movie
Vivy's Flourite eyes song has good music and good fight scenes and good everything else
All the Gundam shows are great, I like Witch from Mercury and Iron Blooded Orphans the most
Pluto is an insane watch
Everyone is going to say Fullmetal Alchemist
etc. have fun!
If you like supernatural horror and supernatural mystery thrillers and you feel like watching something while it's still october I recommend Another it's my favourite horror anime and has really good atmosphere and suspense building with a satisfying conclusion to the mystery imo
It admittedly does get kinda bloody in the uncensored version so be aware of that and that some of the death scenes can be kinda bloody/unsettling idk what your horror tolerance is
Omg thanks for the backup 🫡 I've read the novel and manga as well I love it in all its forms although I admit since Izumi Akazawa's my fave I appreciate the anime massively expanding her role! I still need to read S/O and 2001 though I need to get copies of them 😭
I've gotta get a copy!! I've only seen it one time in a manga and comic shop by my parents' house but I stupidly didn't buy it then 😭I'm so curious what'll happen in a sequel tho I hope the atmosphere is just as good as the original novel!!
Haven't watch a lot of animes lately but I can recommend some ongoing horror mangas.

Ancient Magus’s Bride and Recovery of an MMO Junkie are two of my favorites, though sadly the latter is only twelve episodes and the manga was canceled due to the creator’s health.
out of 3 anime titles i've finished one is a little nsfw and i won't advise it here (though it's not boku no pico!)
and the other two are jjba and lain, so... maybe i'll recommend to watch jojo's bizarre adventure and serial experiments lain?
or one piece. seriously, watch one piece.

It’s a slice of life about a calligrapher that moves to an island to focus on his art and grows closer with his neighbors
