Sometimes I encounter people here in Washington who ask me if I miss the Cali weather or ask “how are you adjusting?” and I blurt out “fine! I am GREAT. This is the weather I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED.”

(But I do miss Irvine food places.)

Yeeep. If I could just transplant this little found family of mine, all my hobbies, and my favorite restaurants to the north by about 1000 miles, that'd be perfect
