This is my 2nd day on BlueSky: I LOVE it... it's calm, respectful, very civilized... I had forgotten what that was like. I will make the full transition. Twitter is choking on poor management.
x is for politics and porn. bluesky definitely can be for both of these too but there's more art content appearing on feeds and all that political stuff, conspiracy theories and suggestive reposted "memes" aren't as intrusive on here if you don't wanna see them and that's what's nice about bluesky.
If I log into Twitter ( or ahem """X""") now it wants me to delete almost every post I ever made because of age stuff from 2019 so yeah no Bluesky for sure!
It’s not lost on me that it’s better because people who don’t want toxicity migrated en masse over here and that could change any day when the toxic ones decide to migrate too, but man am I so happy with this app/community right now
X gave me 1 like after 24 hours with 300 followers--Bluesky is giving me about an average of 6-9 likes with not even 200 yet. Hands down, as a small artist trying to grow a following, Bluesky is so much better!!!
