I think just like with crypto, LLMs need to a) move from “legos” to products, so that you don’t need to be a prompt engineer to have a positive experience, and b) do a ton of content marketing around how to “make it work”
I’m just saying it really can fail too lol. that variance is why it’s so easy for groups to talk past each other I think

it’s very easy to find well-intentioned people hitting a fail wall when using LLMs. it happens to me constantly. but you can just hand a free tier to a normie with no instruction and do a mini user study
It's true that people fail with it. I just don't think they are worth talking about in the context of the greater convo about AI. If the topic is 'AI UI/usability', for sure.
