I feel like some ppl don’t want to have to “defend” their personal stance bc it’s easier to fall back on “other ppl feel/said so!” than to fight in the trenches as the sole person who feels xyz :,)

From what I’ve observed esp at work it’s like…both parents have to work all day->can’t parent kids->kids left to find other parent/peer figures rather than develop their own self-confidence ->
grow up accommodating other’s viewpoints bc shaking the boat means losing your base…rinse…repeat :,)

I understand wanting to find people who share similar thoughts and validate the feelings you have, but a lot of times I just see things like “how do we feel about ___” what do you mean how do WE feel? How do YOU feel?

It feels like people are afraid of being "wrong"/having the "wrong" opinion. I hope people will grow out of it/have the courage to be honest and earnest!! People being earnest about things they enjoy/love is one of the most beautiful things!!!
