It would have existed approximately 100-60 million years ago, connected the Gulf of Mexico with the Arctic & was extremely shallow. I'm guessing your north of me where chalk layers are exposed, I'm along the lower Brazos where I find Mammoth fossils and petrified wood. ( Outside Houston )
