I just finished these recently, played the original a lot as a child but never completed it til now. Had a lot of fun, currently going through Blood Omen 2 and hope we get a Defiance remastered someday.

Really good game and a great continuation from the original Legacy of Kain game on PS1. I remember playing through the first game and thinking it was really unique. Then came Soul Reaver and knocked it out of the park.

Played part two, but nothing past that. I need to pick it back up one day.

Just looked and realized it’s a special slipcover variant, and it’s advertised as limited quantities maybe because of that.

I might consider settling on an Xbox copy, but also might see if a standard PS5 version gets made, I don’t know…doesn’t seem to be a guarantee…

Oh absolutely, at least in my opinion. It's a compelling story, great characters, gameplay, puzzles, it's super fun.

I believe it might be a prequel so probably. I'm not 100% sure. My mom played them a lot and loved them but I was an early teen (aka like 20 years ago)

Man, it's so disgusting how predatory LRG is.

The STANDARD edition is listed as "limited pre-order for a limited time"

While the COLLECTOR'S edition is "open pre-order for a limited time"

Literally forcing people who want a physical copy to pay more money for the CE because it won't run out.

Apparently it's just for a foil variant, someone else mentioned it. I had no idea. There will probably be more copies later. I know people hate LRG, but I've had some decent experiences with them overall. I just can't speak for others on them.
