I never really got into Skyrim, having played and loved Oblivion, Morrowind, and ahem Daggerfall and Arena (this very much ages me, I know) Somehow I love ESO though, it was just Skyrim that I didn’t enjoy

The quests and dialogue in Oblivion have more drama, where a lot of Skyrim quests just seem like various reasons to go fight through dungeons

This was one of my first WRPGs and I love it. Due to Ocarina of Time, Avernum 3 (a pc wrpg with lizard people in it), and this game's resident lizard people, I changed. It's a phenomenal game that I would LOVE to play again on a modern console.

I don't think I accomplished anything in this game. I was always being chased by guards for thieving. One time I stole a horse and the horse turned on me. The other problem was burden.

The jump from Morrowind to Oblivion was insane. I remember getting this on release and spending like 3 days just saying, "How is this even possible?" It made so many leaps in terms of RPGs and story. The shivering isles to this day is my favorite expansion dlc ever created, too. Cheese for everyone!

This was my first experience with Elder Scrolls and it’s still my favourite.

One of my favourite RPGs ever and for a long time it was my most played game ever (until Bloodborne).

I really hope the rumoured remake is true and stays true to the original.
