UC was a huge cut as it combined entitlement and housing benefit, a big financial loss compared to the prior scheme. However, Labour’s reforms will compound 14yrs of austerity and the impact of Covid on mental/physical health. It’s frankly disastrous. It’ll not just increase poverty, but haunt them.
