"The biggest cuts to disability benefits on record should shame the government to its core." Charities have slammed Labour's benefit reforms as a “violation of human rights” that could harm seriously ill and disabled people 👇 buff.ly/ptT2I27

We’re campaigning to improve mobility between UK and EU countries (travel and residency) after Brexit. Follow along if you’d like to learn more.

Labour's Minister of State for Social Security and Disability Stephen Timms confirms That if you're properly disabled, you will still get help But if you're only a little bit disabled you won't get help I'm still in shock at a Labour choosing this instead of taxing the rich, disgusting

Brexit Is Biggest Mistake UK Ever Made youtu.be/1vuapfPmbd4

Who should I connect with that can really help us move the needle on Freedom of Movement? And/or mobility improvements?

It’s not just that it’s morally indefensible for Labour to cut more disability support than Tories ever dreamed of. It’s that we have been living in the fallout from the last round of austerity & they have learnt absolutely NOTHING. Making the poor poorer COSTS US MORE #r4today

🚨Labour won’t talk about Brexit. 🚨The Tories pretend it never happened. 🚨And Reform wants more of it.🚨 There’s only one party with the guts to say it: Brexit is a disaster. It’s time to Rejoin. 🇬🇧❤️🇪🇺 #ExitBrexit #RejoinEU #BrexitRebels

Labour out torying the torys

The best prime minister we never had. #Corbyn

Zarah is 100% right. The #Labour party are deliberately choosing to punish the people who need the most support, the sick, elderly, disabled, the needy. There's many other ways, such as the one Zarah suggested, but no, #Starmer WANTS to punish the vulnerable. Vote Labour out. #RedTories

Austerity with a red rosette is not the “change” people voted for.

Liz Kendall and her husband reportedly earn a combined £750,000 a year Today Liz Kendall announced that a million of the poorest in our society will lose £4,000 a year Make of that what you will

The debate on Brexit has shifted now. Is it about the difficulties of exports and imports? Yes, it is still partly about that. But tweaks on that are secondary. The whole geopolitical situation has shifted. The US has ditched its allies to move towards Russia. Rejoining the EU is an emergency.

Labour should have said they are investing £1 billion to help those not in work or education to get help to get work - everybody would have supported this Instead, the Resolution Foundation estimate that a million poor, sick, and disabled people will lose £4,000 a year, as a result of these cuts

There is an alternative to the government's cruelty: treat disabled people with care, dignity and respect. My piece for @mirror.co.uk www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Labour need to be very VERY V-E-R-Y clear long before 2029 that their current course WILL NOT win them re-election. It's then up to them whether they change course, or opt for oblivion.

As Labour were kicking poor people and people with disabilities to save a few quid, Germany passed its largest spending package since reunification. That's what "things have changed" really means: the gumption to tear the rulebook into teeny tiny pieces. See also: Brexit, and rejoining the EU.

The best time to start undoing Brexit was yesterday. But we missed it. Let's grab the second-best chance: today. The sooner we start, the sooner it will be in the dustbin of history. And that must begin with Labour scuffing out their bright red lines under the guise of "things have changed".

Oh, great. More performative change for the sake of it. Rips up a system established in 1997 to improve efficiency. Hard to think who was in power then. (And all because there have been a handful of high profile cases of wasteful spending.) Feels like Labour are trying to be Trump-Musk Lite.
