No one realizes how much extra $ we have to put into all activities like getting groceries, getting transportation, getting help around the house with cleaning and repairs. We have to pay for all of that.

Everyone has to pay for home aid/help but thee are things that handicapped people CAN'T do that able people CAN do. I can't even put up a shower curtain. I have to pay someone to come do it. I can't mount paintings. I have to pay someone.

I have always said if I play and win the lottery the first nonprofit I want to start is one that provides free case management for folks with chronic/serious health conditions to manage all the dang calls, appts, etc. Just so much work while feeling like garage and on top of adulting.
