They are pretty effective at that, unfortunately. I work harder now. But their hatred and the uncertainty their actions bring, hang over my head with every task. It is very heavy to carry.

I think the right does plenty of language policing. They just all agree and buy in to it voluntarily, whereas requests for language change from leftists is generally from people with less power in the movement, asking those with more power to respect them, and the latter often balks.
