I had my first head injury at age two, so I have always had problems. I have suicidal ideation, but what helped me the most was this: it’s one choice of many, and it’s the one choice that there is no coming back from.

I almost did it as a teen, but I had a really vivid vision of endless blackness, endlessly alone. Not saying that this is what death is, just that this vision made me change my mind.

Yes yes yes. Even decent doctors leave me feeling humiliated. I’m barely functioning, and I have to keep “proving” my symptoms over and over just to get a little help. I’m so lonely and miserable.

Mine keep asking me about what doctors I've been to for the issues I have and don't seem to understand I *don't have one* bc I can't afford it. I finally broke enough to come to this ONE doctor for this issue. I don't have a PCP. she left & didn't inform her pts or transfer us.

My gp is good. For me it's the system that hurts. The place that diagnosed me refused me ADHD meds because I moved over the boarder to the next county (10 mins from my old gaf).

My chronic illness is destroying my life and all they care about is protocol.

I feel this in my bones. Ill for pretty much my whole 41 years and I'm so tired of fighting. In my last GP appt I felt pathetically grateful for his concern when I said I'm in constant pain and life is a struggle... then a few minutes later he talked about reducing my pain meds. I'm so exhausted.

I HATE when doctors say stuff like "good news the test came back negative". That's not fucking good news! I still feel like shit and now I know it's going to take even longer to get better because I still have to find out what is going on to be able to treat it!

Also I'm so SICK of doctors who kept saying my sudden excruciatingly painful stomach issues were just my IBS. Just because I have IBS (which isn't even a proper diagnosis) doesn't mean that every digestive issue is IBS! Turns out after a year of suffering is was SIBO, which I diagnosed myself.

For me not suicidal but hopeless, helpless, depressed. People think they're looking at a normal person because we present that as best we can when we have to go do the things we have to do. But inside we're dealing with incredible amounts of pain.
