There are far too many politcians in this province who work really hard to avoid saying "I do not support Donald Trump." And if they won't say that, it seems reasonable to assume their loyalties are at best split. Even if their family "has been in Alberta since the 1800s."

Alberta Transportation Minister Devin Dreeshen was asked recently if he still supports Trump or regrets attending Trump events in the U.S.
He had campaigned for Trump in 2016 and went to DC for the 2025 inauguration as a "private citizen." (He was first elected as an MLA in 2018.)
