Texas Rep. Introduces The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act preventing 69 million married women from being able to register to vote.
It requires a birth certificate that matches their current name, which is a problem for women who changed their legal name when they got married

It does seem as if protecting (alleged) White christian cis males from competition is the end-game here, doesn't it?
One a side note, could you please not refer to human beings as "minorities?" Thanks!✌🏻
When you're quantifying groups, there are majorities and minorities.
- Why?
- I dunno do your own research.
But hey, don't mind me... throw that reasoning out to some "minorities" and see if they agree with your take. They live this.
Also, thanks for what you do. This era sucks in many ways, but muckrakers will never suck.✌🏻
Have you ever asked your Mom if being called a minority bothers her?🤷🏻♂️

I guess we should all just continue to let those in power determine our language. Good day.✌🏻
Yeah, I think that she is aware that minority religious groups, merit protection. Yeah, I think she was including them too.
But neither of us really knows what she meant, amirite? Yet another reason calling human beings "minorities" should go away, IMO.✌🏻
So stupid in addition to being evil and wrong.
But let's not pretend they plan for actual elections in the future, anyway.
