Agree! I use Claude for rudimentary tasks, as I need to keep abreast of the technology. But the principle behind the whole industry is dangerously flawed. (Or deliberately flawed.)

People keep saying to me “Oh the stuff they make is pretty good these days!” and in some ways I’m inclined to agree. A LLM can reliably produce passable (though usually not exceptional) text if fed the right prompts. But the output quality isn’t the problem! Drives me nuts.
