Remarkable how, in 2024, when sports have been drenched in quantitative analysis for years, the NYTimes manages to write a story about a player who supposedly has an unfair advantage without mentioning *any* stats in it, just the uncritical repetition of subjective claims from hostile people.

The NYT quotes SJSU’s assistant coach saying that the trans woman on the team jumps higher & hits harder than the cis women she plays against—but doesn’t check to see if that’s true (it’s not—the screenshot on the right is ESPN’s reporting from earlier this week disproving those claims.

No, that is simply FALSE. Trust me, we are OBSESSED with out production data. We look EVERY. DAY.
Work from home days ALWAYS have higher production.
Republicans just want a nanny state
The ESPN article puts NYT to shame. The team captain is an ass - joins the lawsuit, initially says the trans player colluded with an opp team to make her look bad, then boosts her stats by relying on the trans player.
