Although the deicide libel of the gospels seems ahistorical (Pilot doesn't act as in other sources, the Sanhedrin doesn't act as they were known to, the crowd takes blame in unison unlike any crowd ever has, etc) There aren't any Pharisees. They mostly disappear once Jesus reaches Jerusalem

Unsubstantiated? In Matthew the last Pharisee seen before Jesus' death is in 22:41, Pilot gives a choice of Barabas in 27:17. Mark the last Pharisee is 12:13, Pilot's offer 15:9. Luke they leave 19:39 and Pilot offers 23:18. John 18:3 and 18:39. Any Pharisees there are your imagination, not the text
